Bangladeshi girl gets gold medal

STAFF REPORTER, Dhaka

Elma Ayesha, a Bangladeshi student received a gold medal in the prestigious Owlypia Global competition held at the Harvard University in the USA. Ayesha who recently passed her O-levels from International Hope School of Uttara received the gold medal in the speech craft (debate) competition held at the world famous US University from July 2-5. Owlypia is a global event in where students aged 11-14 (Owlets) and 15-18 (Owlys) engaged in many intellectual challenges. Ayesha is the daughter of Ali Abdullah Tinku and Salma Shahanaz Noor.
