Shantanu Biswas passes away

Shantanu Biswas, chief operating officer of Ispahani Tea Limited and the renowned Tea Taster of Bangladesh, passed away on Friday at a private hospital in Dhaka. He was also chairman of Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh, says a press release. He left wife, two daughters and many admirers to mourn his death.

Ispahani Family expressed deep condolence at the death of Shantanu Biswas. Shantanu Biswas was a famous artiste, writer, lyricist and dramatist. He has four solo and two mixed albums. Some of the famous plays written by him was Informer, Kalo Golaper Desh, Nobojonmo, Doptori Raj Doptore, Bhoboghure, Nirvar etc. ‘Kholapith’ was one of his famous song lyrics book.
