Tickets for Sunidhi-Habib concert go on sale

Popular Indian playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan and Bangladeshi composer, musician and singer Habib Wahid are set to rock the Dhaka audience through a concert titled ‘Winter Blast Concert 2015’ on November 6 at the capital’s International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Ahead of the concert, a press conference was held yesterday at the city’s Hotel Amari Dhaka, where the organisers officially announced the commencement of ticket sales that started from yesterday. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Club 11 Tashfina Haider and CEO of Inception Media Khan Mohammad Badruddin, among others, were present at the press conference.
The organisers also announced that the concert will start at 7pm and will continue till the mid- night at Navratri Hall of the ICCB. The gate will be opened for the audience at 6pm. The ticket prices for the concert are divided into four categories– Lion: Tk 10,000; Tiger: 7,000; Panther: TK 5,000 and Cheetah: Tk 3,000. One can purchase the ticket with a debit or credit card through online etunes.com.bd or ticketchai.com. Apart from this, tickets are available at various restaurants, including Beans and Aroma (Uttara), Tune and Bite (Khilgaon), Nomads (Dhanmondi), Mad Chef (Dhanmondi) and all outlets of Swapno.
Organised by Club 11 Entertainment and Inception Media Ltd, Rakesh Myni--winner of the Indian Idol-5, is also scheduled to enchant music lovers with his hit songs along with the celebrated playback singers of the two countries at the concert.
Speaking at the press conference, Inception Media’s CEO Khan Mohammad Badruddin said, “We have already received the official confirmation from Sunidhi Chauhan. She is expected to arrive in Dhaka by November 5 with her team comprising 19 members, including musicians, personal fashion and hair designers and so many.”
