Missing MMC teacher found dead in Sylhet

A college teacher, who reportedly went missing since Friday, was found dead in South Surma Telirai area of the city yesterday. The deceased was Saiful Islam, 29, an honorary teacher of Islamic history department at Madan Mohan College (MMC), and son of M Yusuf Ali Goainghat  upazila in Sylhet. Saiful used to live at a bachelor quarter of Jamidarbari in Tilagarh area of the city. Emraj Ahmed, a friend of Saiful, said Saiful remained missing from Friday after Jumma prayer. Later, his family members filed a case with Shahporan police station in this connection.

On Sunday morning, police on their facebook page published news attaching a photo that an unidentified man was found dead from South Surma Telirai area.

Later, family members identified Saiful and contacted with police.
