Bangladesh Post Office has (BPO) introduced a service called Nagad to facilitate the financial transactions with greater control and discipline, a press statement said. Dhaka GPO and Chittagong GPO have already started renovating with this service. BPO is preparing and taking initiatives so that Nagad services can reach the 50 per cent of the unbanked population of Bangladesh. As a result, the workplace of BPO is changing and becoming more innovative. Nagad will provide immediate and quick financial transactions, the statement added.
