Mitali to be honoured with lifetime award

Paying homage to music legend Mitali Mukherjee, Citibank NA, Bangladesh is holding a programme titled ‘Gaane Gaane Gunijon Songbordhona’ today at Utsab Hall of Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in the city.  Singer Mitali Mukherjee will be honoured with the lifetime award at the programme for her outstanding contribution to Bengali music and culture. Earlier, Citi honoured Nilufar Yasmin, Farida Parveen, Feroza Begum, Sanjida Khatun, Shorab Hossain, Ferdausi Rahman, Sabina Yasmin, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, Subir Nandi, Shahnaz Rahmatullah and Syed Abdul Hadi for their contribution to Bengali music and culture.
