Bangladesh Brahman Sangsad launched

Bangladesh Brahman Sangsad was launched for the first time yesterday for the Brahman community. The decision was announced in the National Brahman Delegates Conference – 2019 at Bangladesh Railway Puja Mandir at Shahjahanpur in the capital, says a press release.

Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Niranjan Bhattacharya was elected president while Bijay Krishna Bhattacharya was elected general secretary of the committee. Niranjan Bhattacharya said the main focus of the Sangsad is to forge unity of the Brahman community of the country.  Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Devdas Bhattacharya and Engineer Amiya Mukharjee spoke among others on the occasion.
