Adnan takes over production of �Mental�

Starring Shakib Khan and Tisha together for the first time, the film titled ‘Mental’—directed by Shamim Ahmed Rony came under a lot of discussion from the beginning. DhakaLive now has news that renowned producer Arshad Adnan has taken over as producer of the film, which is being produced by Bangla Express till now. Arshad Adnan will complete the remaining 30 percent of the film under the banner of Versatile Media. The stars of the film Shakib and Tisha headed off to Bangkok on Sunday, where they are taking part in the 10-day -shooting of four songs under the direction of India’s Shibaram Varma.
After returning to the country, shooting will take place for about two more days and ‘Mental’ will complete its final phase. Versatile Media and Bangla Express will then jointly take preparations for the release of the film.
Arshad Adnan said regarding the production work, “Since the work came to somewhat of a halt at the very last phase, I spoke with the main producer and came under the agreement to complete the remaining work of the film. Now the full responsibility is mine. The film will be completed under my coordination and will mainly be released under my production house. I hope that I can present the film properly to the viewers and hope that they appreciate it.”
To note, after a few days, Achol and Porshi will also travel to Bangkok to take part in the shooting. The story of ‘Mental’ has been penned by Chhotku Ahmed, Abdullah Zahir Babu and journalist Daud Hossain Rony. l
