Mitu shoots for four tele-dramas in Cox’s Bazar

Zahara Mitu, winner of ‘Super Model Bangladesh 2017’ and first runner-up of ‘Miss World Bangladesh 2017’, is currently busy shooting for four tele-dramas simultaneously at various locations in Cox’s Bazar. DhakaLive has news that the actress is shooting for Swadhin Fuad’s ‘Lottery’, ‘Nakab’ and Rafat Mazumder Rinku’s ‘Bhalobashar Neel Kham’ and ‘Jakey Premik Bola Jay Na’. Mitu is paired opposite actors Shamol Maula and Niloy in the tele-dramas.

Since she entered the acting industry, the actress has been trying to create a space for herself in showbiz. “From the beginning, I have been trying my best to let the audiences know about me through my acting in various projects. As a newbie artiste, I have made endeavours to make a space for myself among other newcomers. Therefore, whenever I receive a script, I try to think about my character in the project,” she said.

“I really just don’t want to deliver dialogues in front of the camera just for the sake of it. I want to become a true actress and spend the rest of my life in the entertainment industry,” she added. “Besides working for these tele-dramas, I also want to act in films. Working on these small screen projects is preparing me for the big screen projects in future. But I think I am still not ready for the big screen yet”, she said.

Apart from acting and modelling, Mitu is also associated with anchoring. For the past one year, the actress has been anchoring ‘Shudhu Cinemar Gaan’ on Boishakhi TV. The actress’s ongoing drama-serials include ‘Akashey Megh Nai’ on Banglavision and ‘The Public’ on Deepto TV. l
