National Youth day today

The National Youth Day will be observed across the country today in a befitting manner. The theme of this year is –“Youth awaken to build Bangladesh, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh”.

Different government and non-government organisations have taken elaborate programmes to mark the day.

A programme arranged by the Youth and Sports Ministry will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the programme as the chief guest. President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages marking the day.  

In a message President Abdul Hamid said, knowledge-oriented, skilled and ideal youth society is backbone of the nation.
