Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) launched month-long training course for 30 male and female youths of the erstwhile enclaves in Panchagarh district town from Thursday, BSS reports from Rangpur. The cost-free training course is being arranged on 'Sweater Knitting and Linking Machine Operation, at the Training Centre of Panchagarh Youth Development Office with a view to turn the youths into skilled human resources.
The BGMEA in association with the Youth Development Department has been organising the training course and the process will continue for the erstwhile socioeconomically backward enclave people to speed up their development.
The training course is aimed at appointing all of the unemployed 30 male and female trainee youths in the country's export-oriented Readymade Garment Sector (RMG) at Dhaka as skilled human resources after completion of their training course.
Expert Trainers of BGMEA Ali Hassan and Sohrab Hossain have been conducting the course for making the participating youths from different erstwhile enclaves into skilled garment sector workers through providing them with practical knowledge and skill. The course will continue for mainstreaming the unemployed male and female youths of the erstwhile enclaves in turning them into skilled human resources for their employments to accelerate development of their backward areas.
