Nisho in titular role ‘Junior Artiste Latif’

Ekushey Padak and National Film Award winning popular actor Ilias Kanchan will be seen playing as Ilias Kanchan, a character in his own name, in an upcoming Eid special telefilm titled ‘Junior Artiste Latif’. The telefilm is scripted and directed by talented drama director Sumon Anwar.

Audience-admired actor Arfan Nisho will be seen in the titular character, junior artiste Latif. The story of the telefilm revolves around his character. Besides, actor Ahsan Habib Nasim and Mousumi Hamid will be playing the role of director and assistant director respectively.

The six-day shooting of ‘Junior Artiste Latif’ will end very soon this month, the director informed DhakaLive.

Working with Sumon Anwar for the first time, Ilias Kanchan said, “I earlier heard about Sumon Anwar from various corners that he produces good work. However, this is my first project with him.”

“I really liked the concept of ‘Junior Artiste Latif’. If the director accomplished the work with care, then I am hopeful that the audiences would like it”, the senior actor added further.

About the plot of the telefilm, Sumon Anwar said, “With the participation of the entire production unit, a telefilm or a tele-drama gets his final output. A production boy, who just joins the unit, also contributes with his work to establish the star such as Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan to their successful endeavour and popularity. They cannot do it alone.”

“The main thing is that everyone’s cordial participation gives a wonderful environment to a shooting unit”, the director added.

Afran Nisho said, “This is a challenging project for me this Eid. I have earlier portrayed many challenging roles under Sumon Anwar’s direction. This is completely a new challenge for me, and I have tried my best to portray it appropriately. ”

To note, the telefilm ‘Junior Artiste Latif’ is scheduled to telecast on Banglavision in upcoming Eid.
