Habibul Bashar, Asif Akbar to appear on silver screen

Former Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Habibul Bashar Sumon and popular singer Asif Akbar will be seen appearing in the film titled ‘Purno Dhoirgho Prem Kahini-2’ directed by Safiuddin Safi. DhakaLive has news about the involvement of Bashar and Asif in the film that the shooting of their part is currently underway in the city. Singer Asif wrote about the film on his Facebook wall yesterday, “Making of a film centring cricket is underway. I rendered a song for the film centring cricket and love of a cricketer. I am a playback artiste, so I can definitely sing. But rest of the incident does not match with my previous life history. By the utmost request of close people, I have agreed finally. Please don’t think that I am going to be an actor, rather I am required to join the team as the story of the film demands my presence. The film is based on cricket, only for this reason, my long-term close friend Habibul Bashar, who is currently a selector of Bangladesh Cricket Board and I will take part in the shooting today. We will be seen as cricket analysts in the film.”
On the other hand, ‘Purno Dhoirgho Prem Kahini-2’ was scheduled to hit cinemas during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, but it is not finally going to be released this Eid. The release date has yet to be decided, but the director is hopeful about his film that the audience will accept the film whenever it will be released exclusively on any festive occasion or any holiday. Besides focusing on the main subject as cricket, the film has also the appeal of a love story.
With the story, screenplay and dialogue by Rumman Rashid, popular actors Shakib Khan, Joya Ahsan, Emon, Mousumi Hamid, Omar Sani, Shahidul Islam Sachchu, Gulshan Ara, Johny Hoque, Noor, Sazzad Hossain, child artiste Mahi and many more acted in the film.
