Methopath, a newly-formed theatre troupe, will stage yet another show of their maiden play ‘Atopor Madho’ at the Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital today.
Based on Rabindranath Tagore’s works and activities on jute industry and its workers, the play ‘Atopor Madho’ consists of two characters. Shamima Akter Mukta and Sharmin Shangita Khanom will portray all 12 characters in the production.
Inspired by the Rabindra literature, the play has been scripted and directed by Alok Basu. The stage, light and costume design were done by Faiz Zahir while music was composed by Shishir Rahman. It was choreographed by Samiun Jahan Dola.
