A two-week solo exhibition of renowned artist of Bangladesh Ivy Zaman, titled ‘Brave World of Sculpture’ has begun yesterday at the Nalikanto Bhattashali Gallery of National Museum in Shahbag of the capital.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor inaugurated the exhibition yesterday evening as chief guest on the gallery premises, while chairman of Summit Group Aziz Khan, renowned artist Professor Samarjit Roy Chowdhury,
eminent sculptor Hamiduzzaman Khan and vice chancellor of University of Dhaka Professor Dr Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman were present as
special guests.
The exhibition is showcasing unique artworks in the walls of the gallery representing serene language of art in forms of sculpture and paintings that are conducted by Ivy Zaman.
Organised by Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts, the exhibition remains open to all every day from 10am to 7pm, until July 10.
