On the very day of her acting debut, the iconic actress of the country’s filmdom, Kabori Sarwar was slapped by late noted filmmaker and actor Subhash Dutt. Kabori had to climb up a tree for the shooting of the film ‘Sutorang’ at Gulshan Park. But she fell down from the tree and couldn’t give the shots properly. Right that moment, Subhash Dutt—the director of Kabori’s first film—slapped her in order to bring out the best from her. Going down the memory lane at the recording of a TV show titled ‘Ranga Sokal’ recently, Kabori said that the girl named Mina Pal from Chattogram’s Firingi Bazar made her film debut on that day with such a motivating incident. Subhash Dutt had also changed her name to Kabori from Mina Pal.
DhakaLive has news that Kabori has recently participated in the recording of Eid special episode of ‘Ranga Sokal’, which will be aired on the second day of the Eid from 7am to 9am on Maasranga TV. Produced by Rakibul Alam and Jobayer Iqbal, the show will be anchored by Rumman Rashid Khan and Labonno.
Besides speaking about different aspects of her film career and future plan surrounding the second part of her biography ‘Smritituku Thak’, Kabori has also sung a song for the viewers in the show.
