Ex-information minister Shamsul Islam dies

Former information minister M Shamsul Islam died yesterday due to old age complications at a city hospital. He was 87, reports BSS. Shamsul Islam, also a former BNP standing committee member, left behind two sons and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death. He will be buried today at his family graveyard at Shukhbashpur under Munshiganj Sadar upazila after Zumma prayers following the Namaz-e Janaza at Basirunnessa High School ground.
