Evening of Western classical music at AFD tomorrow

Flaming Acoustics, an instrumental ensemble directed by Iftekhar Anwar, will perform Western classical music tomorrow evening at the Auditorium Nouvelle Vague of Alliance Française de Dhaka in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. Artistes of the ensemble will perform exclusive renderings of Western classical music, which include pieces by venerable European and Latin American classical composers.

The performance will feature classical guitar, flute and violin. Imran Hossain Joy (Classical Guitar), Md Akash (Silver Flute) and Suchorit Shuvanon Rahman (Violin) will perform along with Simon Kierspel, award winning performer at the national violin competition of Germany ‘Jugend Musiziert’ in 2005 and 2006.
