STEP 3 Six-day art show underway at Zainul Gallery

A six-day art exhibition ‘Step-3’, an effort of the students of the 4th batch (1995-1996) Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka (DU), is underway at the Zainul Gallery of the faculty. The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition held on Friday on the gallery premises, where Dean of the fine arts faculty Professor Nisar Hossain was present as chief guest. Renowned artists Professor Shekh Afzal Hossain, Professor Mostafizul Haque and Professor Shishir Bhattacharya attended the inaugural ceremony as special guests. A total of 54 artworks using acrylic, watercolour, oils, pastels and mixed media by 23 artists are being displayed at the exhibition.

Besides, sculpture and installation works are also put display at the exhibition.

The exhibition is open to all everyday from 10am to 8pm, until February 14.
