Gohin Baluchor
Gohin Baluchor, directed by Badrul Anam Saud, is a love story between two residents of rival villages near a river. The story of the film is commonly seen in village areas where land appears to be more important than life.
The movie plot revolves around a conflict between the villages. When a shoal, or char, rises from the river, it becomes the source of contention between the villagers. The piece of land was once submerged in the river. The feud between the two villages over its ownership and the fate of the star-crossed lovers unfold through the film.
Saud is a famous TV drama director and Gohin baluchor is his first feature film, where he proves his outstanding talent.
He chose new actors for this movie, like Tanvir and Neela, for the lead roles and they do a very good job. Side characters played by Subarna Mustafa, Jeetu Ahsan and Raisul Islam Asad are also outstanding.
The story telling, direction, cinematography, music, everything is excellent in this movie and it proves that the debutant movie director is on the right track.
The movie was released on December 29, 2017.
