Ctg school student stabbed dead

A nine grade student was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants yesterday in the city’s Zamal Khan area. The deceased was identified as Adnan Isfar, 15, son of Andan Akhtarul Alam, an LGED engineer of Khargachhari and a student of the Collegiate School in Chitaggong. The victim was also grandson of former Nurul Alam Chowdhury, president of Chittagong North District Awami League. The miscreants stabbed him from his back and left critical condition in front of the Dr Khastagir Girls School area at around 2pm. A teacher and two students of Ideal School rescued him and brought to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the on duty doctor declared him dead.
