Regional SME fair begins in Rajshahi

A weeklong ‘Regional SME Products Fair 2018’ began in Rajshahi on Monday with the main thrust of promoting local SME sector, enhance production of quality SME products, exhibition and introduction of SME goods for expanding business, trade and commerce, reports BSS.

In the fair, a spectrum of locally produced SME goods including leather products, jute-made products, handicrafts, processed agricultural products, electrical and electronic goods, clothes, design and fashion wares and other products are being exhibited in around 60 stalls.

SME Foundation and district administration jointly organised the fair at Rajshahi Collegiate School playground in association with BSCIC, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NASIB.

Deputy Commissioner Helal Mahmud Sharif and Regional Director of BSCIC Engineer Ajharul Islam addressed the inaugural ceremony as chief and special guests respectively.
