Ankhi Alamgir busy with stage shows
The singer celebrates birthday in homely manner today

Popular singer Ankhi Alamgir has always been busy with stage shows all year round and it is not an exception this year too. After performing in a show abroad, she returned home on January 5 midnight and right next morning the singer took part in s stage show in Chittagong. Besides, Ankhi will perform at the Jodhpur Park Festival in Kolkata tomorrow.
However, the singer has committed for many other back-to-back stage shows in the coming days this year, where she will perform to mesmerize audiences with her magical voice. Now from her hectic schedule allocated for the stage shows, the only break she is taking is today because it is her birthday today.
About her stage shows Akhi Alamgir said, It is a blessing to be busy with stage shows all-year-round and it has become a part and parcel of my life. I have been running like this for a long time. Even I have performed in the same country and in the same venue for five consecutive times. The audience loves me, and for that I perform on the stage. I just want to live with this love from the audience.
Today, on her birthday, Ankhi will spend the day with her parents and children. The singer has taken a break from her stage show commitments and wants to celebrate her birthday in a homely manner.
On the occasion of her birthday, the singer shared that she only seeks blessings from everyone, so that she can live a happy and healthy life.
To note, Ankhi Alamgir recently lent her vocal to a song for the film Ekti Cinemar Golpo directed by her father Alamgir. The song is written by Gazi Mazharul Anwer and tuned by Runa Laila..
Besides singing, Ankhi Alamgir also grabbed the prestigious National Film Award in the best child artiste category for her role in the film Bhat De that released in 1984.
