Moazzam elected BMCCI president, Shabbir secy-gen

Syed Moazzam Hossain, managing director of SMH Engineering Limited and Shabbir Ahmed Khan of Khan and Deen Traders were elected president and honorary secretary general respectively of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) for 2018-2019 in the 16th Annual General Meeting held in the capital on Saturday.

Raquib Mohammad Fakhrul, chairman of Ayurvedia Pharmacy (Dacca) Ltd and Syed Sadat Almas Kabir, chief executive officer of MetroNet Bangladesh Limited were elected vice presidents. MA Bakar, managing director of Jaycee Shipping Agency Ltd and Engr Mohammad Badrul Hassan, director of BBS Cables Ltd were elected honorary joint secretary general and honorary treasurer for

the same period, a BMCCI press release said yesterday.
