Popy to play challenging role in ‘Turn’

The actress has signed her dream film titled ‘Turn’, which will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shahidul Haque Khan.

In the film ‘Turn’, the actress will be seen playing a double role. One of her character is a disabled person, and with playing a role like this, Popy will be seen playing a character of disabled person for the first time.

Popy said about the film, “Many films with conventional stories are offered to me, but I do not feel interest to act in those films. I always prefer to star in the film which has a unique story and challenging characters.

‘Turn’ has an extraordinary story, along with that the character I would portray is really challenging. I dreamt of acting in a character like this. I am really nervous about playing the role, whether I would be able to enact it appropriately. I am taking all necessary preparation for the role.”

Popy informed that the shooting for the film will commence from January next year.
