Pallima School TT begins today

Prime Bank-Pallima Sangsad School Table Tennis Tournament organised by Pallima Sangsad will begin today on the club premises in Khilgaon in the capital. The club has arranged the tournament to commemorate its 50th founding anniversary.

Mohammed Lutfur Rahman, general secretary of the club stated that they have already started their golden jubilee foundation celebration with organising different sports programme and social welfare events started. Club’s founding president MD Hafizur Rahman Moina and founding member Asadur Rahman Nasim also spoke on the occasion.

Rahman said 22 leading schools are taking part in the table tennis tournament. “We are expecting some foreign students of some English medium schools would participate in the meet.”

The clubs officials expressed their gratitude to Prime Bank for sponsoring the tournament. The club has chalked out a budget of Tk 3.50 lakh to run the tournament.
