Yeti Obhijaan hits countrywide cinemas today

Starring popular Indian actor Prosenjit Chatterjee and actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and actor Ferdous from Bangladesh in the lead roles, a new film titled Yeti Obhijaan hits the cinemas across the country today. Directed by acclaimed Indian filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee, this is the second installment of Kakababu series. The film has been brought to the country by Jaaz Multimedia following the agreement of South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) treaty.
Jazz Multimedia has confirmed that the film will be released in about 50 cinema halls across the country, including capitals Star Cineplex and Shyamoli Cinema.
Produced by SVF Entertainment from India, the adventure thriller film is an adaptation of Pahar Churaye Aatonko from the popular Bengali adventure series Kakababu by author Sunil Gangopadhyay. Yeti Obhijaan is a sequel to the film Mishawr Rawhoshyo, which garnered a lot of appreciation from the critics and audience.
In the film, Kakababu and Sontu will unravel the mystery of the legendary beast, the Yeti (Snowman). Gorokhshep plateau (a fictional place) is the new destination where the uncle-nephew duo is faced with harsh circumstances in the process of unraveling the actual truth behind the attacks by the giant beast. The quest introduces them to new characters such as Mingma and Norbu, local sherpas, who help them in the expedition. Their adventure leads them to discovering the mystery of the Yeti.
Other important characters of the film are played by Jisshu Sengupta, Aryann Bhowmik and Alexx ONell. l
