Jamuna Blockbuster showing comedy horror ‘Boo 2! A Madea Halloween’

‘Boo 2! A Madea Halloween’ a 2017 American comedy horror film written, produced, directed by and starring Tyler Perry is being screened at the Jamuna Blockbuster Cinemas in the capital’s Jamuna Future Park. It is the tenth film in the Madea series, the sequel to Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016). Perry brought his signature Madea character back to life last year in his ninth “Madea” movie — “Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween.” Perry credited the story’s origin to Chris Rock’s inclusion of a fictitious Madea Halloween movie in his 2014 film “Top Five.”

The film shows Brian's daughter Tiffany, who has turned 18, goes to a frat party at Camp Derrick, a haunted campground. Madea, Bam, Hattie, and Joe venture out after her and the group must run for their lives when monsters, goblins, and the boogeyman are unleashed.

The cast of the film includes Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Yousef Erakat, Diamond White, Andre Hall, Tito Ortiz, Inanna Sarkis, Mike Tornabene and mamy more.

In the United States and Canada, the film’ Boo 2! A Madea Halloween’  was released on October 20, 2017 alongside ‘Geostorm’, ‘The Snowman’ and ‘Only The Brave’. The film made $760,000 from Thursday night previews, down from the $855,000 made by the first film the previous year, and $7.5 million on its first day.
