Apu Biswas, Sohag together for Eid programme

Popular actress Apu Biswas and choreographer Ivan Shahriar Sohag will be seen performing together in an Eid special programme titled ‘Panch Ronge Apu’. The duo will perform with the song ‘Ek Bindu Bhalobasa Dao’.

Apu Biswas, the actress who has earned huge popularity with her acting skill in the Dhaka film industry, will come up with her performance with five popular songs in the show.

Four other songs with which Apu has performed are— ‘Dhum Tanana’ from the film ‘Preme Porechhi’, ‘O Akash Bole De Na Tui’ from the film ‘Rajneeti’, ‘Soptosure’ sung by Sabina Yasmin and ‘Miti Miti Tara’ sung by Shreya Ghoshal.

Apu Biswas, who came to limelight with her film ‘Koti Takar Kabin’ and established herself as one of Bangladesh’s most popular heroines, had a love for dancing from his early career and learned dance from Shilpakala Academy.

Apu Biswas said about her dance, “Actually, I am a dance artiste and I love to dance. It can also be said that I have passion for dance. But due to my busyness for film, I cannot give enough time for dance.”

Ivan Shahriar Sohag informed that earlier he worked with Apu Biswas, but the experience of the latest work is different. Because this is for the first time, Apu has performed with Sohag’s dance troupe ‘Nrityabhumi’.

Choreographed by Ivan Shahriar Sohag, Mohammad Nuruzzaman has directed the programme ‘Panch Ronge Apu’, which will be aired on the third day of Eid at 9pm on NTV.
