A Supreme Court lawyer yesterday sent a legal notice to the authorities concerned, asking them to remove the music video titled ‘Nesha’ starring model-actress Kusum Sikder from the YouTube. The music video, which was uploaded to YouTube on August 3, has been made with the song rendered by Kusum Sikder who also penned down its lyric. Besides, she has been featured as a model with her co-artiste Sujan in the music video.
Lawyer Aftab Uddin Siddiqui has sent the notice to models of the music video Kusum Sikder and Khaled Hossain Sujan, production house Banga through email, post office and courier service asking to remove the music video within 72 hours.
Besides, the notice was also sent to BTRC chairman, acting secretary of Information and Communication Technology Division, secretary of Cultural Ministry and secretary of Information Ministry.
The lawyer said in the legal notice, if the parties involved with music video do not remove it within 72 hours, legal action will be taken against them.
The notice also said the lyric of the song is very erotic. It will have a negative impact on the society. The music video is full of objectionable, sexually explicit and vulgar scenes.
