Laisa Ahmed Lisa mesmerises audience with Tagore songs

Laisa Ahmed Lisa mesmerised the audience by rendering Rabindra Sangeet at a programme organised by Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre at the Bangladesh National Museum in the capital on Wednesday.
Laisa Ahmed Lisa performed popular Tagore songs, including Badolo Diner Prothom Kodom Ful, Aj Jemon Kore Gaiche Aakash, Aji Tomai Abar Chai Shonabare, Swapne Amar Mone Holo, Amare Jodi Jagale Aji, Mor Megher Songi, Raate Mon Duarguli, Oshruvora Bedona, Mone Ki Didha Rekhe Gele, Ami Elem Tari Dare, Dip Nibe Geche Momo and Aji Jhorer Raate.
During the entire programme, Lisa was accompanied by Enamul Haq Omar on tabla, Robins Chowdhury on keyboard, Asit Biswas on esraj and Nazmul Alam on mondira.
Laisa Ahmed Lisa is a senior teacher of Rabindra Sangeet and general secretary at Chhayanaut. She is a member of Anandadhwani and vice president of the central committee of Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammelan Parishad. She has released 12 musical albums from established music companies like HMV Saregama and Bengal Foundation. l
