Zahid Hasan, Badhon act together in Eid tele-drama

With the target of telecasting on a satellite TV channel during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, young TV drama maker Masud Karim Sujan has made a special tele-drama titled ‘Fokla Babu’. In the tele-drama, celebrated actor Zahid Hasan will be seen playing the central character, Fokla Babu and popular actress Azmeri Haque Badhon has acted in the role of his wife. The shooting of the tele-drama has been completed in the current week, director Sujan informed. The tele-drama is written by Manas Pal.

However, Badhon got the opportunity of acting with Zahid Hasan in her second tele-drama in the beginning of her career. Pairing up together, Zahid Hasan and Badhon acted in Humayun Ahmed-directed tele-drama ‘Natyakar Hamid Saheber Ekdin’ for the first time. Then, the duo worked together in tele-dramas and drama serials on different occasions.

Zahid Hasan said about acting in this tele-drama, “As there is a matter of teeth with my character in the tele-drama, I had to give emphasis additionally on using teeth alongside acting. I always prefer to play unique characters. I felt wonderful to act in this tele-drama. Besides, Badhon has enacted her character amazingly.”

Badhon said, “Truly, Zahid Hasan is a high-profile actor. From the beginning, he has always been very supportive for me and I can’t express in word that how he every time cooperated with me regarding acting and other related matters. He creates a comfortable zone for his co-artiste during the shooting, which helps to act naturally.”
