Eminent director Animesh Aich’s latest film ‘Bhoyonkor Sundor’, one of the much-talked-about movies in the recent times, is set to be released in 28 cinema halls across the country today, including capital’s Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster and Shamoli Cinema.
Popular Indian Bengal actor Parambrata Chatterjee and lustrous Bangladeshi actress Ashna Habib Bhabna have paired up in the film. A few other important characters of the film have been played by Syed Hasan Imam, Lutfur Rahman George, Farhana Mithu, Faruk Ahmed, Somapti Masuk and Dihan.
Alongside directing the film, Animesh Aich himself has penned down the story, dialogue and screenplay of the film based on Moti Nandi’s novel ‘Joler Ghurni O Bokbok Shobdo’. Parambrata has portrayed the role of Muku Nandi in the film, while Bhabna has played as Nayontara.
The film’s teaser came out last December and submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board early January this year, and it faced some complications in getting the final nod. Finally, the film earned its approval on March 16. The film was supposed to release in April.
To note, the premiere show of the film was held at Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall yesterday evening ahead of its countrywide release today.
