Khurshid Alam performs at ‘Sera Gaan’ today

Veteran singer Khurshid Alam will perform at a musical programme titled ‘Sera Gaan’ today. The programme will be aired live today at 2:45pm on Channel i. Kurshid Alam will recall memories of the songs those he will perform at the show.  Directed by Anonna Ruma, singer Konal will anchor the show.

Born on January 8, 1946, Khurshid Alam is today one of the most popular and influential playback singers in the country’s film industry. His career has spanned over four decades, in which he sang more than 3000 songs. He is best known for singing some of the most renowned Bangladeshi film songs of all times, such as ‘Chumki Choleche Eka Pothe’, ‘Maa Go Maa’, ‘Miss Lanka’, ‘Ajke Na Hoi Bhalobasho’, ‘Dhire Dhire Chol Ghora’, ‘Chupi Chupi Bolo Keu Jeney Jabe’, ‘Jodi Bou Shajo Go’ and others.
