National Film Award winning talented actor Chanchal Chowdhury has been an admirable name among the viewers for playing all unique characters on both small and big screens. With his brilliant performance, dedication and commitment for acing, he has become an important part of the country’s tele-dramas, telefilms and films.
However, the actor has recently played the character of Misir Ali, a unique creation of Humayun Ahmed, in the film ‘Devi’. This time around, Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen playing Humayun Ahmed’s ageless character, Himu in a special telefilm titled ‘Rupar Jonno Bhalobasa’. The telefilm will be aired on Channel i today evening on the occasion of Humayun Ahmed’s fifth death anniversary. The telefilm has been directed by Raju Alim, which is inspired by a story of Humayun Ahmed.
Beside Chanchal Chowdhury as Himu and Toya as Rupa, the different characters of the telefilm have been played by Ishana Khan, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Kazi Uzzal, Iqbal Babu, Rias Hossain, Mahbub Alam and Muna Chowdhury, among others.
Raju Alim has written the screenplay of the telefilm alongside giving its direction.
‘Rupar Jonno Bhalobasa’ will be aired today at 7:50 on Channel i.
