UGC Officials Visits East Delta University
A team of University Grant Commission (UGC) officials visited the East Delta University (EDU) in Chittagong recently at its Probortak Centre. Sayeed Al Noman, the Founder Vice Chairman of EDU, welcomed the delegates, while Professor Dr Mohabbat Khan, member of UGC, Professor Dr. Siddique Ahmed Chowdhury, treasurer of EDU, were also present in the discussion. The delegates appreciated potential collaboration, cultural exchange opportunities, scholarship facilities, faculty exchange possibilities, working on joint research between organizations, institutions and universities of the foreign countries. Sayeed Al Noman said that they do not believe in number of students, rather they believe in offering quality education.
