American girl flies to Bangladesh for her love and gets married

An American girl, who fell in love with a Bangladeshi national, has got married to  the man she loves in Jhenidah. The girl, Elizabeth, 21, has completed her graduation last year in the United States.

The Bangladeshi bridegroom, Mithun Biswas, 22, said that they came to know each other through Facebook while he was in Singapore.They were good friends and later the friendship turned to a love affair, he said.

Elizabeth had to go through hardship as her family was against the marriage. When she informed her family about Mithun, her proposal was turned down by her parent.

After that, Elizabeth got herself a job as an accountant with a farm and came to Bangladesh in the first quarter of January.

Later, on January 6 they tied the knot as per their religious decorum as they both are Christians.
