Both DSE, CSE gain on Tuesday

Key share price indices at the countrys twin bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) - returned to positive note on Tuesday amid Bangladesh Banks rule on banks capital market exposure.
The DSE key index, DSEX gained 14.86 points or 0.32 percent to close at 4593.74 on the day. Of the 321 issues traded, 159 gained, 117 declined and 45 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 526.25 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday as against Tk 488.8 crore on Monday.
Pragati Insurance topped the gainers list at Dhaka bourse while other companies were Green Delta Insurance, Asia Pacific General Insurance, Beximco, Simtex Industries , Appollo Ispat Complex, Central Pharmaceuticals, Shurwid Industries, ACI Formulations and First Finance.
The top five turnover leaders at the DSE were Beximco, Beximco Pharma, KDS Accessories, Aftab Automobiles and Quasem Drycells.
Top five losers at the DSE were Rahima Food, Islami Insurance Bangladesh, Apex Spinning Knitting Mills, Padma Oil and Reliance Insurance.
The key index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), CASPI advanced 15.95 points to reach 13995.74 at close on Tuesday. Of the 237 issues traded, 120 advanced, 93 suffered loss and 24 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues at the port city bourse was Tk 25.88 crore on the day.unb
