Both DSE, CSE dip on Tuesday

The key share price indices at the countrys twin bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- dropped for consecutive two days on Tuesday.
The DSE key index, DSEX lost 11.05 points or 0.24 percent to close at 4574.05 on the day. Of the 321 issues traded, 74 gained, 212 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 443.03 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday against Tk 586.29 crore on Monday.
Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries topped the 10 losers list at Dhaka bourse while other companies were Samata Leather, ICB AMCL 1st NRB Mutual Fund, Ibn Sina, Beacon Pharmaceuticals, Saiham Cotton Mills, Pharma Aids, Shinepukur Ceramics, Tallu Spinning and Modern Dyeing Screen Printing.
The top five turnover leaders at the DSE were Saif Powertec, Al-Arafah Islami Bank, Ifad Autos, Summit Power and Beximco Pharma.
Top five gainers at the DSE were Al-Arafah Islami Bank, Exim Bank 1st Mutual Fund, Standard Ceramic, Delta Brac Housing Finance and Emerald Oil Industries.
The key index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), CASPI dropped 39.06 points to reach 13977.80 at close on Tuesday. Of the 239 issues traded, 66 advanced, 152 suffered loss and 21 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues at the port city bourse was Tk 26.26 crore on the day.unb
