Why Saif Ali Khan’s movie got stalled at St Xavier’s campus, Mumbai

Bollywood’s nawab Saif Ali Khan was shooting at the St. Xavier’s premises in Mumbai since two days and yesterday the shooting of his movie was stalled due to some illegal activity that was noticed by BMC, reports The Times of India. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that they will take serious action against the ‘Chef’ actor as he parked his vanity van and installed tents without seeking permission from the concerned authorities. As per reports, Saif and his team had seeked permission to shoot for his movie, however, did not take permission from the BMC authorities. The property where he was shooting comes under BMC jurisdiction, thus resulting in an unfortunate situation. The corporation even asked Saif to relocate the tents and the vanity van to another suitable location, from a ground next to St Xavier’s campus in Parel. However, despite notices, the team did not stall the shooting and so today, BMC went to the ground and removed the vanity van and a tent from the St Xavier’s ground. BMC also told Saif Ali Khan that he will be penalised for the offence.
