During two Eid festivals, every year, Channel i premieres a number of films for its local and international audience. This year, the list of films for television premiere appears abundant with six much-anticipated films. On the day of Eid, Talented filmmaker Abu Sayeed’s film ‘Dressing Table’ will be premiered at 2:30pm. Produced under the banner of Impress Telefilm, ‘Dressing Table’ is the seventh film of the award-winning director Abu Sayeed. The key cast of the film includes Tarin Rahman, AK Azad, Nadia Khanam, KS Feroz, Iffat Trisha, Poresh Acharya, and Khalilur Rahman Quaderi, among others.
On the second of Eid at 10:15 am, actress Tania Ahmed’s directorial debut film ‘Bhalobasha Emoni Hoy’ will be aired. Irfan Sajjad, the winner of the reality show ‘Fare and Lovely- Handsome the Ultimate Man’, stars in the film opposite popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim. Mishu Sabbir and Tariq Anam, among others, have also acted in the film. The film’s story and dialogue have been written by Raihan Khan. Besides directing the film, Tania Ahmed has also written the script and choreographed the dance sequences.
On the third day of Eid, Ananya Mamun’s film ‘Ostitto’, starring popular actors Arefin Shuvo and NusratImroseTisha, will be aired at 10:15am. Other casts of the film include Nijum Rubina, Suchorita, Sujata, Azim and Kabila, among others.
Next, ‘Runout’, the second film by talented director Tonmoy Tansen, will be aired at 10:15am on the fourth day of Eid. The film stars audience-admired actors Sajal, Omar Sany, Mousumi Naag, Rumana Sarna, Tanvir Hasan Probal, Ahmed Sharif, Tarik Anam Khan and model Naila Nayeem will also appear in the film in a special role.
Then, Shamim Ahmed Rony-directed romantic-action thriller film ‘Rana Pagla-The Mental’, featuring Shakib Khan and Nusrat Imrose Tisha in lead roles, will be aired on the Fifth day of Eid at the same time. The film casts Achol, Sabrina Porshi, Misha Sawdagor and Shimul Khan in supporting roles.
On the sixth day, popular duo Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas-starrer film ‘Samraat’ will be aired at the same time. Directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, the film also stars Indraneil Sengupta and Misha Sawdagor in lead roles. The film narrates the fall of two notorious underworld mafia leaders. Shakib Khan plays the titled role in the film.
