Once you sit down inside the tent, butlers wearing traditional dress will welcome you with sparkling date juice and fresh fruits to break your fast. They will also serve 30 different varieties of dates from around the world. These dates are imported from different countries from Middle Eastern and European region. The iftar menu also includes basic Arabian dishes like Moutabel, Hommus, Labneh, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Babaganoush With fresh grilled pita, Nan and Lavash breads. Moutabel, an Arabian dip like hummus, made with eggplant. Different types of hummus dip made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. Labneh is strained yogurt served as dip or spread eaten with pita or Nan. All these are traditional iftar servings in the month of Ramadan in Middle Eastern countries.
There will be Halim and rainbow geIlebi to meet the traditional iftar cravings. For sweet tooth there are Turkish delight, Arabian basbousa, Baklava, katayef, Balasham and Mini Hot Oumali Fondue. Baklava is world famous Middle Eastern dessert delicacy made with nut and layered pastry sweetened with honey and sugar. Katayef is an Arab dessert, which is commonly served during the month of Ramadan in Arab countries, a sort of sweet dumpling filled with cream or nuts.
The dinner menu comes with the main courses of pure Middle Eastern delicacy. A whole lamb Ouzi with saffron pilao and nut rice. Lamb Ouzi is basically a baby lamb cooked with grill, widely served during Ramadan in Arab Feasting. A blend of sweet spices, including allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom, gives the recipe its Middle Eastern accent.
