Shimmering heat affects premier league cricketers

The extreme heat affected the players in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League with cramping and vomiting became a regular issue. At least two players became sick during the match between Gazi Group Cricketers and Mohammedan Sporting Club at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium. The shimmering heat not only made the players sick but also forced the match to finish after 6 pm which is a rare thing in Dhaka league.
Team sources said both of the team took much time for the extreme heat which is the reason to finish the match at late. During the match, Mohammedan’s highest scorer Rony Talukdar had cramped twice while Gazi’s highest scorer opener Munim Shahriar vomited. Both of them got back to the game after recovering from the problem.
Two days ago, Prime Bank coach Khaled Mashud Pilot, also the former national skipper revealed his concern to play the game at such heat in his verified facebook page.
