‘Infrastructure facilities being improved for quality education’

The present government puts maximum emphasis on improving infrastructural facilities and providing training, inputs, scientific equipments and computers to the educational institutions for ensuring quality education, reports BSS from Rangpur. Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges Nazmul Hoque Pradhan said this while inaugurating new academic building of Dosmail High School under Sadar upazila in Panchagarh on Saturday afternoon as the chief guest.
The Education Engineering Department (EED) has implemented construction works of the two-storied academic building of the school with various modern facilities at a cost of about Taka 70 lakh. With Chairman of the School Governing Committee (SGC) Mohammad Sharifudddin in the chair, Administrator of Panchagarh Zila Parishad Advocate Abu Bakar Siddik attended the ceremony as the special guest.
Executive Engineer of EED for Panchagarh Menhazul Haque and Chairman of local Satmera union parishad Enamul Haque Pradhan also addressed on the occasion. Officials of different government departments, SGC members, teachers, students, guardians, civil society members, public representatives, professionals, social workers and local elite attended the ceremony.
The chief guest said the improved infrastructural facilities in the school would definitely improve academic atmosphere to flourish latent talents of the students, who will build a developed Bangladesh to make independence meaningful for every citizen.
