Cop held for 
‘selling’ yaba

Police arrested a police constable allegedly for selling Yaba tablets and seized 23,500 pieces of the tablet from his possession near the Ansar office area in Sadar upazila on Monday, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as  Sub-inspector of Cox’s Bazar Sadar police station Mamun Mainuddin said acting on a tip-off, constable Saddam with a team of police raided in the area and arrested constable Saddam Hossain along with 23,500 pieces of Yaba tablets. Saddam hails from Noakhali district. Mamun Mainuddin filed a case with Sadar police station under the Narcotics Control Act. Later, police produced him before the court, which sent him to jail.
Our Correspondent from Tangail reports: RAB-12 of Tangail arrested a fake journalist and seized 760 pieces of Yaba pills yesterday. The fake journalist has been identified as Ismail Hosain Roki, 27, of Tarotia Komlai village in Delduwar upazila. RAB handed over Roki to Delduwar Police station.
Aslam Hossain SI of Delduwar police station said Rokia, who poses as a journalist, has been involved in drug trade in the area. A Tangail court has sent Roki to jail.
