Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), in association with Shadhona—a centre for the advancement of South Asian culture, hosted a Bharathanatyam evening at IUB’s own campus in the capital’s Bashundhara area, says a press release.
During one and half hour aesthetic portray of untiring vitality and fervor, this eminent artiste showcased neat technique, strong stance and ignited facial expressions through her graceful presentation of Mallari, Alarippu, Astapadi and Tillana. Talented and highly reputed performer Kirti Ramgopal not only performed outstandingly, but also synchronized with the audience through the soulfulness of her performance..
Kirti Ramgopal is acclaimed as one of the brightest talents of Bharathanatyam in her generation. With her keen ability to understand and imbibe the nuances of this beautiful art form and with her perseverance and dedication, she has traveled across India and internationally throughout US, Canada, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Bangladesh.
