Cricketers’ new salary structure likely today’s meeting

The revamped structure of players’ salary and match fee issue will get the top priority amongst other matters at today’s board meeting of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The meeting will start at BCB management office of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) at 1:30pm.
Apart from that, the upcoming home series against Pakistan and Australia, Bangladesh ‘A’ team’s tour, Under-19 team’s tour, High Performance team’s tour, the next Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), will also be discussed with financial and other regular issues.
About the board meeting, BCB media and publication committee chairman Jalal Younus said that players’ salary issue will be the main agenda of the meeting.
“Mainly the structure of the players’ salary will be discussed alongside other regular issues. But players’ issued will be approved in the meeting,” said Jalal Younus.
“Along with that, the schedules and venues of the next back-to-back home series against Pakistan and Australia in July-September will be decided along with others regular and monetary matters,” Younus told The Independent over mobile.
