Audience-admired actor Sayeed Babu has worked in a new television commercial (TVC) after two years. This time, he has modeled in a TVC of a multinational company’s switch socket. Dhruba Hasan has made the Babu’s new TVC, whose shooting was completed in the capital’s Coke Studio last week.
Babu said about working in the TVC, “On the whole, I liked everything of it very much, including the concept and my character in the TVC. As a result, I have worked in any new TVC after two years. I have always been very selective about working in the TVC. That’s why, I am not seen regularly in the TVC one after another. Dhruba made the TVC very sincerely. I hope it will be admired by the audience after going on air.”
However, Babu last time modeled in a TVC of a mobile company under the direction of Khan Md Badruddin two years ago. In 2006, he became model for the first time in the TVC of Starship directed by Afzal Hossain. In the same year, he modeled in the TVC of Banglalink under the direction of Amitabh Reza. His dialogue ‘Sedin Ki Ar Achhe, Din Badlaichhe Na’ in this TVC was widely recognised by the audience that time, and Babu came to limelight as a model.
Babu informed that he is going to work in yet another new TVC very soon. On the other hand, Babu is currently acting in several drama serials on a regular basis. His drama serials such as Mir Sabbir-directed ‘Noashal’, Dodul’s ‘Sangsar’, Bappi’s ‘Gulbahar’, Sokal Ahmed’s ‘Phulmahal’, Monir’s ‘Shunnotay’ are being aired on different TV channels at present.
