MYMENSINGH: The government has taken a massive programme across the country for providing incentives to the Aus farmers for boosting the production this season, reports BSS. Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) has started distribution of the incentives items like quality seeds, fertilizer and cash money in the district under the programme. Muktagacha upazila Agriculture office distributed Aus incentives yesterday at a function at the upazila parishad premises. Member of the Standing Committee for Ministry of Information Salah Uddin Ahamad Mukti MP addressed the function as the chief guest while upazila agriculture officer Nargis Akhter was in the chair. Each farmers received 5 kg seed, 20 kg urea, 10 kg DAP, 10 kg MOP fertilizer for HYV Aus farming along with taka 4 hundred in cash for irrigation assistant and each Nerica farmers received 10 kg seeds, 20 kg urea, 10 kg DAP 10 kg MOP with cash money Taka 8 hundred as irrigation assistance and for cleaning of grass in the crop field.
