Shabnam Parveen acts in Humayun Ahmed’s story

Shabnam Parveen, who has given impeccable performance in famous writer Humayun Ahmed’s popular dramas many times, is going to act again in a tele-drama titled ‘Jahir Karigar’ based on the story of Humayun Ahmed after half decade. Earlier the film was made by Humayun Ahmed but this time, Humayun Ahmed’s servitor Ibrahim has directed the tele-drama with the aim to air on Channel i.
The shooting of the tele-drama was completed in the first week of April in the Gazipur’s Nuhash Palli. In the drama Shabnam Parveen played the role of Jahir’s aunty.
About acting in the drama Shabnam Parveen said, “I have acted many of Humayun Ahmed’s tele-dramas and films. Sir created a different acceptance of mine to the audience. So I am thankful to him. I last acted in Humayun sir’s tele-drama ‘Turuper Tas’ before one year of his death. After his demise in 2012 I didn’t get chance to act in any of his writings. Now I am very happy to act in a drama ‘Jahir Karigar’ based on the story of Humayun Sir. I am hopeful about the drama.”
On the other hand, Shabnam Parveen for the first time performed in an item song of a film titled ‘Amar Kono Tension Nai’ directed by Boshir Ahmed. In the film she will play the role of villain and performed in an item song sung by Nibedita Mou. She already completed the shooting of the item song.
Shabnam Parveen said about performing on the item song, “For the first time I have performed in an item song. I did the work with a lot of efforts. I hope the audience will like my performance.”
The drama ‘Jahir Karigar’ will be aired on Channel i in upcoming Pahela Baishakh.
 Shabnam Parveen –acted film ‘Swatta’ was released yesterday. She also acted in Akash Acharya’s ‘Mayabini’, K M Ayub’s ‘Agun Pani’, AJ Rana’s ‘Mrittu Dondo’ and others. She also directed teledramas—‘14 Inch Sada Kalo Television’, ‘Dhuya Tulshi Pata’, ‘Prem Janena Roshik Kala Chand’, ‘Swapna Chhoya’ and others.
On the other hand, Shabnam Parveen also acted in about 200 theatrical plays from the troupe Saptarupa, MuktiJuddha Natya Chakra, Rangona and Boishakhi Natya Gosthi.
Shabnam Parveen acted play ‘Ke Ami’ will be staged on the upcoming Pahela Baishakh in the Uttara’s 12sector in the capital.
